Born in the Somali Region of Ethiopia, Fafan Valley Prime Beef represents a new generation of African meat production: export-grade, traceable, halal-certified, and deeply rooted in one of the world’s great pastoral livestock cultures.
Like the world’s great origin-based beef systems, we believe exceptional beef begins long before processing. It begins with landscape, climate, forage, animal handling, heritage, and identity. Our ambition is to establish Fafan Valley Beef as the premium beef origin of Africa — a distinctly African expression of quality rooted in the Somali Region’s unique ecosystem and livestock traditions.
Located within the Acacia–Commiphora ecosystem of the Horn of Africa — a landscape long associated with frankincense, myrrh, resilient grazing systems, and nomadic pastoralism — Fafan Valley Prime draws its character from the environment that has sustained Somali livestock culture for generations.
